How We Started
We Built the Agency We Needed.
Heaven Bound began with two artists who experienced the music industry from different angles but recognized the same problem: talented Christian artists were being forced to choose between people who understood their faith and people who actually knew how to market their music.
Kendrick Henson, known as 4KL, brought firsthand experience as a recording and performing artist, serial entrepreneur, brand builder, and hands-on marketing strategist. After investing more than $100,000 into his own artist career and experiencing both the promises and failures of the music industry, he learned what truly moves an artist forward. Following a life-changing encounter with Christ, Kendrick redirected his experience toward helping Christian artists build strong brands, reach real people, and create sustainable momentum.
Kolbe Ballard brought years of experience as an independent Christian musician, multi-instrumentalist, digital strategist, and student of strategic communications. His understanding of musicianship, worship, indie pop, song positioning, audience development, and professional campaign strategy completed the other half of the vision.
Together, they built Heaven Bound to give Christian artists what they could never find in one place: faith alignment, genuine care, real artist experience, and serious marketing execution.
